AMD launched the Radeon RX 7600 at a very affordable $269, undercutting NVIDIA’s RTX 4060 in pricing and availability. The RX 7600 has mostly been compared with the RTX 4060 Ti and the RTX 3060 family in the last few weeks. Although generally slower, it draws more power than the former and comes with the same 8GB VRAM buffer and 32MB of LLC.

1080p Gaming Benchmarks
Starting with 1080p gaming, we see the Radeon RX 7600 perform in the same tier as the RTX 3060 Ti, being just 4-5% slower in most scenarios. In Assassins’ Creed Valhalla, the RX 7600 is just 3% slower than the 3060 Ti, costing approximately $100 less.
In Cyberpunk 2077 (without ray-tracing), the RX 7600 trails the 3060 Ti by 4% while maintaining similar lows. The deltas expand in F1 2022 and Ghostwire, conferring the 3060 Ti with a lead of 6% and 15%, respectively.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider and The Callisto Protocol favor the RTX 3060 Ti, leading the RX 7600 by as much as 40% in the latter. Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is a much closer affair, with a nominal deficit of 10%.

1080p Frametimes
Moving to frametimes, the RTX 3060 Ti offers a smoother experience in most cases. The Radeon RX 7600 faces a lot of random frametime spikes in Cyberpunk 2077 and Hogwarts Legacy.
F1 2022 and Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands produce a cleaner graph, but overall, the RTX 3060 Ti renders frames with more consistent pacing.

1080p Ray Tracing Benchmarks
Ray tracing has never been AMD’s strong suit, and it shows. The RTX 3060 Ti is over 30% faster than the RX 7600 in “A Plague Tale” at 1080p when enabling ray-traced shadows.
The Radeon RX 7600 puts up a more respectable display in Crysis Remastered and Cyberpunk 2077, trailing the RTX 3060 Ti by just 22% in the latter, averaging 73 FPS in the former. F1 2022 is another ray-traced title where the RX 7600 averages ~60 FPS with lows of over 30. The RTX 3060 Ti is in a league of its own with 1% lows higher than the 7600’s average.
Ghostwire Tokyo is quite playable on the RX 7600, with all ray-traced options maxed out. You get an average of 60 FPS with 1% lows of 30. The RTX 3060 Ti, once again, enjoys a massive lead across all metrics. Hitman 3 royally pummels the RX 7600, with frame rates being 50% higher on average.
The Radeon RX 7600 performs much better in The Callisto Protocol and Metro Exodus, trailing the RTX 3060 Ti by under 14% on average. Despite being one of the most well-optimized PC games, Shadow of the Tomb Raider thrashes the 7600. The RTX 3060 Ti averages 33% higher than the Radeon, with much better lows throughout.

Ray Tracing Frametimes
The Radeon RX 7600 is a stuttery mess in Cyberpunk 2077, with sporadic stutters throughout the benchmark. The RTX 3060 Ti delivers much smoother gameplay in comparison.
Although one of the best ray-traced benchmarks for the 7600, Metro Exodus produces a messy graph with plenty of frame time spikes.
Barring a couple of intermittent spikes, F1 2022 produces a clean frametime graph for the Radeon RX 7600. In this case, it runs almost as smoothly as the RTX 3060 Ti with an average of ~60 FPS.
1440p Gaming Benchmarks
Dialing the resolution up to 1440p significantly increases the load on the GPUs, yet they continue to average 60 FPS or higher. Of course, there are a few exceptions, notably “A Plague Tale: Requiem,” where none of the cards can hit 50 FPS on average.
Hogwarts Legacy and The Callisto Protocol is another pair of games where the RX 7600 falls short of the 60 FPS mark. In the former, we see an average of 55 FPS and a 1% low of 41 FPS, which get reduced to 43 FPS and 11 FPS in “The Callisto Protocol”.

1440p Frametimes
The 1440p frametime graphs aren’t that different from their 1080p counterparts. The Radeon RX 7600 is generally less consistent than the RTX 3060 Ti but still delivers playable gameplay in most examples.
What Just Works:
- 1080p rasterization performance: Nearly as fast as the RTX 3060 Ti at 1080p.
- Healthy generation uplift: Notably faster than the RX 6600.
- Pricing: Very affordable at just $269.
- Discounts: Even though the 7600 launched last month, it’s already selling under its MSRP.
What Doesn’t Work:
- Poor ray-tracing performance: The RX 7600 chokes hard in ray-traced games, often slower than last-gen GeForce offerings.
- VRAM: 8GB is not sufficient for newer games.
- FSR 3 is still absent.
