Now that the high-end graphics cards are out, both NVIDIA and AMD will focus on their budget and midrange offerings. The launch of the RTX 4060 and the Radeon RX 7600 marks the first step in this direction. While NVIDIA has only a couple more SKUs to go, AMD is yet to unveil much of its RDNA 3 offerings. These include the Radeon RX 7600 XT, RX 7700, RX 7700 XT, RX 7800, etc.
First off, we have the Radeon RX 7800 with 60 CUs or 3,840 shaders and 16GB of GDDR6 memory. At $579, it will be $20 cheaper than the NVIDIA RTX 4070, offering 4GB more memory and comparable raster performance. Ray tracing and DLSS 3 will, of course, be a major advantage for the GeForce GPU.
Below the Radeon RX 7800, we have the RX 7700 XT with 54 CUs or 3,456 shaders and 12GB of GDDR6 memory. It is expected to cost $529, making it $29 cheaper than the RTX 4060 Ti (16GB) with 4GB less graphics memory. The RX 7700 will cut the CU count to 48 or 3,072 shaders for $479 while maintaining the same memory buffer.
Its nearest rival, the RTX 4060 Ti, costs $499 and features 8GB of graphics memory while offering higher raster performance. The Radeon RX 7600 XT (not confirmed) is expected to cost $399, offering 40 CUs or 2,560 shaders alongside 12GB of GDDR6 memory.
