AMD’s Radeon RX 7900 XTX has been discounted to a mouth-watering $879 as part of Amazon’s Prime Day sale. The RDNA 3 flagship was launched last year at an MSRP of $999, and barring recent price cuts, it has largely retained that price. A few days back, we reported a Newegg deal where the same card for being sold for $899, $100 less than its launch value.

The PowerColor Hellhound Radeon RX 7900 XTX features a 24GB VRAM buffer clocked at 20Gbps paired with a 384-bit bus and backed by 96MB of L3 cache. The graphics engine runs at a game clock of 2,330MHz and a boost of 2,525MHz using the factory overclock profile. For I/O, you get one HDMI 2.1 and three Display Port 2.1 ports.

Regarding power consumption, you’re looking at a TBP of 355W and an 800W power supply requirement. Like the rest of the Radeon GPUs, it is powered by dual 8-pin power connectors.
