AMD plans to announce its Zen 4 X3D processors next month at CES 2023. According to rumors, there will be three variants of the next-gen V-Cache design: the Ryzen 7 7800X3D, the Ryzen 9 7900X3D, and the 7950X3D. They will feature eight, twelve, and sixteen cores like their planar variants. The second-generation V-Cache technology will offer significantly more on-die bandwidth, doubling gaming performance.
According to @All_The_Watts on Twitter, 3D V-Cache CPUs will cost the same as their planar counterparts. The Ryzen 7 7800X3D will allegedly be priced at $449, 7900X3D at $549, and the 7950X3D at $799, making them direct rivals of the Core i7-13700K, i9-13900K, and the 13900KS.
The Ryzen 7000X3D processors are estimated to be up to 33% faster than the Intel Core i9-13900K, beating their predecessors by over 50% in some scenarios.
