AMD’s Ryzen 7000 processors are down to their lowest prices ever. The 12-core Ryzen 9 7900X debuted at $549 but can now be had for just $431, a massive cut of ~$120 off its price tag. The 7900X offers solid gaming and content creation performance at an affordable price and goes up against the Intel Core i7-13700K, which retails at $416. The Ryzen 9 7900, which, for all practical purposes, is a lower-clocked/lower-TDP 7900X, can be had for $409.
The 8-core Ryzen 7 7700X has been discounted by $60, from $399 to just $339. The non-X variant, the 7700, can be had for $314.99 and is a better alternative for most users.
Its Intel rival, the Core i5-13600K, is going for $319. Compared to the Ryzen 7000X CPUs, the 13th Gen Core parts offer superior gaming performance but roughly the same content creation capabilities.
