AMD Ryzen 9 7900X3D Discounted Below the 7800X3D’s MSRP: On Sale for $385

AMD’s Ryzen 9 7900X3D is more affordable than ever. The 12-core 3D V-Cache chip has dropped to an all-time low of $385, making it cheaper than the 7800X3D when it launched last year. Following this massive discount, the 7900X3D is one of the most balanced gaming/content chips. Unfortunately, this deal price is currently limited to Microcenter. Amazon and Newegg are still selling it above $400.

The Ryzen 7 7800X3D is our favorite gaming CPU since the R7 3700X. It produces the highest framerates while sipping less than 100W of power. You can make a well-rounded 4K gaming PC for about $1000 courtesy of this bundle. You get a B650 motherboard and 32GB (16GB x2) dual-channel 6000MT/s memory for $130 more, leaving you with $500 for the graphics card.

The Ryzen 9 7900X is the last item on our list. If you’re mainly into content creation (or need a powerful CPU for daily workloads), it can’t get much better than this. You get 12 cores and 24 threads clocked at up to 5.60GHz and backed by 64MB of L3 cache (32MB x2). Unlike previous generations, it features an RDNA 2 iGPU, so there’s no need to buy a discrete graphics card if you’re not into gaming.
