AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D is a Bestselling CPU Two Days After Launch: Sells 3x as the Intel Core i9-13900K at MF Germany

AMD’s newly released Zen 4 3D V-Cache processors are a hit. In just two days, the Ryzen 9 7950X3D has become one of the most popular CPUs across retailers, including Newegg, Amazon, Mindfactory, and Microcenter. Beating the Core i9-13900K and 13900KS, the R9 7950X3D is now the fastest gaming chip, courtesy of the 3D stacked cache die, bringing the total LLC to 128MB.

The Ryzen 9 7950X3D and 7900X3D have already sold out at Newegg, and certain third-party retailers are taking advantage of the high demand. Chinese sellers have priced the former at a rather unreasonable $919, 31% more than its $699 MSRP.

At Microcenter, the Ryzen 9 7950X3D has risen to the fifth spot, next to Intel’s Core i9-13900K and i7-13700K. The Ryzen 9 7900X is the #1 bestseller, while the 7900X3D is further down the list.

The Ryzen 9 7950X3D is also out-of-stock at Amazon, but not before becoming the #12 bestselling CPU, right behind the 7950X. The 7900X3D comes in at #24, a few spots below the 7900X.

Last but not least, we have the CPU sales figures from Mindfactory Germany, courtesy of @TechEpiphany. The Ryzen 7 5800X3D continues to lead the bestsellers chart, followed by the Ryzen 7 5700X and the Ryzen 9 7900X3D at #2 and #3, respectively.

The Ryzen 9 7950X3D can’t be seen anywhere as limited stocks keep it out of German gamers’ hands. The Ryzen 9 7900X3D received ample stock, selling 360 units in just two days, thrice as much as the Core i9-13900K.
