AMD’s #1 Bestselling Ryzen 7 7800X3D Discounted by $110, 7900X3D Gets $130 Off

AMD’s #1 bestselling CPU, the Ryzen 7 7800X3D, is down to its lowest price. Microcenter and eBay are selling the 3D V-Cache chip for just $339, down from its sticker price of $449. That’s the biggest-ever discount on the 7800X3D, even beating most Black Friday deals. Newegg and Amazon have listed it for $360, a $20 markup that likely won’t bother most buyers.

The Ryzen 9 7900X3D suffers from the middle child syndrome, not being the best at gaming or content creation. It features two hex-core CCDs, one with 64MB of 3D stacked L3 cache and the other without. Consequently, it falls behind its siblings in gaming (7800X3D) and content creation (7950X3D). Regardless, it’s a capable gaming/content creation CPU, beating most Intel chips in at least the former. With this discount, it’s going at the same price as the Core i7-14700K while offering superior performance.
