The PC system requirements for Black Myth Wukong are out, and they’re a doozie. For sheer rasterization (no ray tracing), you’ll need a GeForce RTX 4070 or a Radeon RX 7800 XT at 4K “Very High” with 12 GB graphics memory and 32 GB system memory. That’s 44 GB of system + GPU memory. Dialing down the settings to 1080p “High” reduces the GPU requirements to an RTX 2060 or a Radeon RX 5700 XT with 6 GB of graphics and 16 GB of main memory.
For 4K “Ray Tracing Very High,” you’ll need a GeForce RTX 4080 Super with 16 GB of graphics and 32 GB of system memory. Overall, that adds up to 48 GB of main + GPU memory. Reducing the settings to 1080p “Ray Tracing Medium” brings down the GPU requirement to the RTX 4060 with 8 GB of VRAM and 16 GB of system RAM.
The CPU requirements are surprisingly timid, requiring a Core i7-9700 or a Ryzen 5 5500, the former being nearly 6 years old. The recommended (and Ultra) CPU specs are the same for rasterization and ray-tracing, implying that the GPU will do most of the heavy lifting. The storage requirements demand 130 GB of SSD storage (preferred over HDD).
