Forza Motorsport Requires an NVIDIA RTX 4080 and 130GB of SSD Storage

Forza Motorsport is on track for launch on the 24th of August. Now that we’re just a few days away from release, the developers have released the detailed system requirements for the popular racer on PC. These include the 1080p (Low) requirements, 1440p (Medium) requirements, as well as the 4K (Ultra) requirements. A quick look at the specs sheet tells us that the CPU side is fairly modest, while the GPU requirements demand the fastest Radeon and GeForce graphics cards.

For 1080p, you’ll need a GeForce GTX 1060 6GB or a Radeon RX 5500 XT alongside “6 physical cores,” 8GB of DDR4 memory, and a whopping 130GB of SSD storage. At 1440p, the GPU recommendation is a GeForce RTX 2080 Ti or a Radeon RX 6800 XT. This also includes the “High settings,” which increases the level of detail and, therefore, the CPU requirements to a Core i5-11600K or a Ryzen 5 5600X.

4K increases the GPU recommendation to a GeForce RTX 4080 or a Radeon RX 7900 XT. The memory requirement soars up to 16GB memory as well as VRAM. On the CPU side, you’ll need 8 physical cores and the same 130GB of super-fast SSD storage for optimal operation.

Remember that these settings consider that you are using DLSS 2 or FSR 2.2.
