AMD’s Radeon RX 7900 XT is a capable 1440p and 4K gaming GPU. Launched at an MSRP of $899, the RDNA 3 part can now be had for much less. The PowerColor AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT on Amazon is one such example. It has been discounted by $150, bringing its selling price to just $749. In addition, you get the Starfield Premium bundle worth $100.
This graphics card is a simple reference variant. It features the official triple-fan design with a 2.5 to 3-slot wide heatsink. The GPU has a game clock of 2,000MHz and a boost of 2,400MHz. A total of 5,376 stream processors power the core paired with 20GB of GDDR6 memory via a 320-bit bus. The memory is clocked at 20Gbps and is backed by 80MB of L3 Cache.
Like its sibling, it leverages a chiplet design with one Graphics Compute Die (GCD), and four Memory Complex Dies (MCDs) fabbed on the TSMC 5nm and 6nm process nodes, respectively. Two of the MCDs are disabled. The Powercolor AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT has a TBP of 300W and requires a 700W power supply for best operation.
