Intel Adds Support for Callisto Protocol on Arc A-Series GPUs, Fortnite Chapter 4, and Darktide

Intel has released a new Game On Driver for its Arc A series graphics cards, supporting a slew of newly launched titles. The handful of gamers running the Arc A770 can now test Callisto Protocol on their systems with ray-tracing. Although the Arc Alchemist family offers mediocre performance, the ray-tracing capabilities are right up there with NVIDIA’s Ampere architecture. (tatuing.com)

In addition to TCP, support for World of Warcraft: Dragonflight, Warhammer 40K: Darktide, Marvel’s Midnight Suns, and Fortnite Chapter 4 have also been added. The latest Fortnite update features Unreal Engine 5, including cutting-edge global illumination (Lumen) and highly detailed geometry (Nanite). You can read about the two below:
