Intel’s Arc A770 8GB has dropped to just £224 in Britain, down from its official sticker price of over £300. The ASRock Phantom Gaming Arc A770 8GB features the DG2 GPU with 4,096 shaders and 8GB of GDDR6 memory. The memory bus is 256-bit wide, delivering a bandwidth of 512GB/s. It’s backed by 16MB of L2 cache and sips up to 225W of power. In terms of performance, you’re looking at strictly budgeted 1080p gaming roughly in line with the GeForce RTX 4060.
The Arc A770 is usually faster than the RTX 3060 but falls short of the RTX 3060 Ti. Its nearest rival, the GeForce RTX 4060 8GB, starts at 311.5 GBP on eBay, making it nearly 100 bucks pricier while offering the same performance levels.
The Arc A770 also has a 16GB variant but costs significantly more. At the time of writing, the ASRock A770 Phantom Gaming D 16GB is priced at 374.99 GBP on eBay. If you think about it, fifty bucks for twice as much memory isn’t a bad deal.
