Intel’s latest Arc graphics driver 31.0.101.5186/31.0.101.5234 brings several performance improvements to DX11 titles while optimizing several recent releases. The WHQL-certified driver adds “Game On” driver support to the Arc A750/A770/A580 for Enshrouded, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, Tekken 8, and Palworld. The same is added to the Core Ultra “Meteor Lake” processors for Infinite Wealth Tekken 8 and Palworld.
The Arc driver also improves the performance of a few dozen DX11 games, most notably Apex Legends, Anno 1800, Elex 2, Hunt Showdown, Just Cause 3, Just Cause 4, Civ VI, Space Engineers, and Warframe. These titles are now up to 26%, 33%, 101%, 27%, 160%, 268%, 32%, 69%, and 20% faster on the Arc A750 and A770. There are some minor bumps for newer DX12 games as well. Noteworthy names include Returnal, Tekken 8, and The Last of Us Pt 1.
The Xe-LPG tGPU on the Meteor Lake processors has also been treated to a few upgrades. Like A Dragon and Returnal/The Last of Us Pt 1 are 25% and 6% faster using the latest Arc graphics driver. Hopefully, by the time Battlemage launches, we’ll have gotten several more of these patches.
