Intel Arc GPUs get a Performance Boost of up to 750% with Graphics Driver Update

Intel’s latest Graphics Driver 31.0.101.4952 confers a significant performance boost on the Arc Alchemist GPUs. The Arc A-series cards are (now) substantially faster in DX11 games while enjoying nifty gains in new titles. Halo: The Master Chief Collection is the highlight of the driver update, being up to 750% faster on the Arc A750, at 1080p using the Enhanced settings. Guild Wars 2, another DX11 title, gets an average FPS gain of 53% at 1080p Ultra, while World War Z is 113% faster. Yakuza 0 has also been fine-tuned for Arc Alchemist GPUs, offering an average FPS gain of 154% at 1080p Ultra.

Several other DX11 games also get minor performance upgrades, ranging from 9% to 37% at 1080p Ultra. Notable mentions include Sniper Elite 3 (37% faster), Euro Truck Simulator 2 (27% faster), and Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare (20% faster).

The Intel Graphics Driver 31.0.101.4952 also optimizes recently launched games such as, “The Talos Principle 2” and Returnal. These DX12 titles are 19% and 53% faster on the Arc A750 using these drivers. Game On Driver support for the following titles has also been added.
