Intel Core Ultra 9 285K/15900K, 265K/15700K & 245K/15600K Launching in October?

Intel may be hurrying the release of its next-gen Arrow Lake-S desktop processors, perhaps in an attempt to draw attention from the ongoing 13th/14th Gen K-series debacle. The chipmaker has allegedly pushed forward the testing period of the Arrow Lake-S 8+16 qualification die from week 40 to week 34 (late August) which happens to be just next month. This implies that the Core Ultra 200 K-series CPUs, including the Core Ultra 9 285K (15900K), Core Ultra 7 265K (15700K), and Core Ultra 5 245K (15600K), will likely land in late October, as indicated by the following tweet:

Meanwhile, the 6+8 die which will be used to power the non-K series processors is targeting a qualification sampling period during week 49 or early December 2024. Earlier, it was rumored that the lower-end non-K SKUs would use the Intel 20A process node. It’s unclear if that still holds true, or like the rest of the parts, will use TSMC’s 3nm (N3B) node. Regardless, these chips will land in early 2025.
