NVIDIA Introduces GeForce RTX 40 Series Studio PCs in India: Features AI Performance Enhancements for Content Creators

Content Creators Set to Benefit With New Purpose-Built RTX PCs and NVIDIA Studio Benefits

Delhi, India – July 10, 2024 – In a recent press event, NVIDIA announced the launch of its new family of Studio PCs in India, specifically designed to meet the demanding needs of content creators in the subcontinent. Powered by the latest GeForce RTX 40 Series GPUs, these systems offer a significant step forward in performance and reliability, ensuring that creators can tackle the most challenging workflows with ease.

Collaboration with Indian System Builders to Build a Local Ecosystem

NVIDIA has partnered with several leading Indian PC builders: MVP, Ant PC, Vishal Peripherals, Hitech Computers, XRIG, and EliteHubs. These collaborations aim to deliver high-performance, ‘Made in India’ PCs tested and validated by NVIDIA, that are preconfigured to leverage the advanced capabilities of the RTX 40 Series GPUs and NVIDIA’s RTX AI technologies. This initiative is part of NVIDIA’s broader commitment to support the burgeoning Indian market for AI and content creation, which is projected to grow significantly in the coming years.

“We’re collaborating with system builders like MVP, Ant PC, Vishal Peripherals, Hitech Computers, XRIG and Elitehubs to deliver more choices to creators to unleash their creativity. GeForce RTX 40 Series Studio PCs unlock unmatched performance in 3D rendering, video editing, productivity and graphics design. Creators can experience feature-rich RTX accelerations in top creative apps, world-class NVIDIA Studio drivers engineered to provide maximum stability, and a suite of exclusive tools that harness the power of RTX for Al-assisted creative workflows.”

Vishal Dhupar, Managing Director, NVIDIA South Asia.

System builders in India are a vibrant and growing sector, driven by increasing demands from creators, gamers, professionals, and remote workers. The Indian PC market demonstrated robust recovery in the second half of 2023, growing 12.9% year over year.

Technical Specifications and Performance

At the heart of these new Studio PCs is the NVIDIA Ada Lovelace architecture, which offers substantial performance improvements, up to 2x over previous generations. Key features include:

  • Third-Generation Ray Tracing Cores: Deliver up to 4x faster real-time ray tracing compared to prior-generation GPUs, making them ideal for 3D rendering tasks.
  • DLSS 3: Uses AI to generate additional high-quality frames, dramatically boosting 3D creation and making viewports smooth and interactive in real-time renderers.
  • Fourth-Generation Tensor Cores: Provide up to 2x performance boost on AI features, enabling faster editing and advanced effects for video editors and 3D artists.
  • Dual Eighth-Generation Encoders: Dual eight-gen encoders with Support for AV1 enables up to 2x faster video exports and 40% more efficient compression over H.264, crucial for video editing and live streaming.

These features ensure that the GeForce RTX 40 Series GPUs provide massive speedups for tasks such as 3D rendering, video editing, live streaming, and AI tools, significantly enhancing the productivity and creativity of professionals.

Market Impact and Economic Considerations

NVIDIA’s collaboration with Indian PC builders is not just about hardware; it’s also about making advanced technology accessible and cost-effective. By working closely with local system integrators, NVIDIA ensures competitive pricing and improved performance. According to Vishal Dhupar, leveraging RTX AI can potentially improve tool performance by up to 100%, effectively reducing computing costs within the same period.

This initiative is also aligned with the growing demands of India’s AI market, expected to reach $6 billion by 2027. NVIDIA’s strategy includes providing validated Studio PCs through its partners, ensuring these systems meet the highest standards of performance and reliability. This approach supports a wide range of users, from individual creators and gamers to enterprises and educational institutions.

Purpose-Built for 120 Million Creators

The creator market continues to grow rapidly, surpassing more than 120 million professional and hobbyist PC creators, up 18% since last year. GeForce RTX Studio PCs benefit from NVIDIA Studio accelerations in over 120 of the most popular creative apps – plus exclusive access to RTX Al-powered apps like NVIDIA Broadcast, NVIDIA Canvas, and RTX Remix.

3D artists can create faster than ever with dedicated ray-tracing cores and DLSS 3. Video editors can produce on location faster with Al tools and cut export times in half with dual encoders. Livestreamers get access to the best quality AV1 encoder and the Al effects from NVIDIA Broadcast. And any creator interested in Al will get the best performance thanks to RTX’s tensor cores and NVIDIA’s optimizations for Al.

Moreover, the integration of NVIDIA’s software suite, including NVIDIA Broadcast, Canvas, and RTX Remix, offers creators exclusive tools that harness the power of AI to simplify and enhance their workflows. These tools are optimized for over 120 popular creative applications, providing unparalleled performance and stability.

Creators can look for the “GeForce RTX Studio PC” sticker on the PC case to identify NVIDIA Studio-validated systems.

Aditya Prasad, founder of XRIG, said he was excited about the future of custom-built PCs in India. His passion led him to start this company seven years ago and he hopes to help the creators in their endeavors with their custom-built PC solutions, some of which look very radical and unique in design.

Their booth featured the NVIDIA AI-accelerated image generation feature, which allows content creators to make thumbnails etc for YouTube in a matter of seconds with just a normal webcam picture, completely on the RTX GPU with no internet required.

Vikash Hisariya, co-founder and director of Vishal Peripherals, mentioned his enthusiasm for allowing custom-built PCs to be accessible to anybody, regardless of their financial standing, to at least be tried out. “Anybody curious is free to come experiment with designs in our showroom”, he mentioned. Their designs cater to wide customizability, ranging from a simple design to whatever one can imagine they want fit inside their cabinets.
