NVIDIA RTX 3080 Ti Drops to $829 (-$400), AMD RX 6900 XT @ $629 (~40% Off), RTX 3090 >Half Price

NVIDIA’s most balanced Ampere GPU, the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti, is cheaper than ever. The high-end SKU launched with an MSRP of $1,199 but can now be had for just $829, a discount of nearly $400 (AIB MSRP is higher). That’s a pretty neat deal, especially if the RTX 3080 Ti is on par, if not faster than the now-deceased RTX 4080 12GB. In addition, you also get a copy of Spiderman bundled, a title that supports a variety of ray-tracing effects and DLSS.

AMD’s Radeon RX 6900 XT has again gotten a price cut and is now available for just $629 on Microcenter. This deal is even more appealing than the previous one: a discount of roughly 40%. The RX 6900 XT falters in ray-traced workloads but is a solid option for rasterized eSports titles such as PUBG, Valorant, Call of Duty, and APEX. On Newegg, the cheaper variant is priced at $669.

On average, the GeForce RTX 3090 is 10-15% faster than the 3080 Ti. The Zotac Gaming Trinity variant is going for $949, once again less than half its MSRP of $1,499. We’d still recommend the RTX 3080 Ti over the 3090, as it performs pretty much the same and is $120 cheaper.
