NVIDIA RTX 4070 is Now the Bestselling Next-Gen GPU Alongside the RTX 4090 and 4070 Ti

Despite scathing reviews and limited traction at launch, NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 4070 is now the bestselling Ada Lovelace GPU. The $599 graphics card retails at its MSRP without notable discounts. When reporting, the RTX 4070 is a bestseller at several popular etailers, including Newegg, Amazon, and Mindfactory, second to only last-gen 60-class cards.

At Mindfactory, Germany’s largest retailer (via TechEphiphany), the GeForce RTX 4070 was the second most popular GPU, with 390 units sold last week, slightly less than AMD’s RX 6700 XT (390 sold). The RTX 3060 and RTX 4090 came in at #3 and #5, selling 300 and 240 units, respectively. The Radeon RX 7900 XTX was ranked #9, ahead of the RX 7900 XT, with 190 units sold.

In the US, Newegg and Amazon reported similar numbers. The GeForce RTX 4070 was the 5th bestselling GPU on Amazon, second only to a trio of RTX 3060s. The GeForce RTX 4090 comes in at #9, while the Radeon RX 6600 is ranked #7 as the only AMD SKU.

Newegg paints an almost identical picture. The RTX 4070 is the third bestselling GPU, followed by a pair of RTX 3060s and the Radeon RX 6600. The RTX 4070 Ti and 4090 are ranked #7 and #9, respectively. Even the RTX 4060 Ti breaks into the top ten with an MSRP of $399.

BHPhotoVideo has a similar bestseller list. The MSI GeForce RTX 4070 Ventus 3X OC comes in at #1, with the RTX 4090 Gaming X Trio at #2. Three more variants of the former and one of the latter also appear in the list’s lower spots.
