NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 4080 Super has been out for just over a week, and prices are already higher than MSRP. The entry-level SKUs, such as the Zotac Gaming and the MSI Ventus, are retailing $100 to $200 over the official price. On Newegg, the Zotac’s AMP Extreme AIRO is the cheapest RTX 4080 Super at $1099, followed by the MSI Ventus at $1200. Meanwhile, the official price stands at $999.
Microcenter is where you can find the cheapest hardware, usually at or under the MSRP. Unfortunately, the cheapest RTX 4080 Super is priced at $50 over MSRP. The Gigabyte RTX 4080 Super Gaming OC is priced at $1049, followed by the AMP Extreme at $1099 and the ASUS TUF Gaming at $1299.
BestBuy is the only store where the RTX 4080 Super is still priced at MSRP. Unfortunately, they’re all out of stock. BB doesn’t have a single RTX 4080 Super available at the moment. It’s even out of stock at NVIDIA’s official store.
While the GeForce RTX 4070 Super and the 4070 Ti Super are in ample supply, the RTX 4080 Super is scarce. NVIDIA and its partners are likely shipping limited quantities of the top-end Super to keep prices from falling.
