NVIDIA RTX 5060 Laptop GPU 70% Faster than RTX 3060 in Leaked Benchmark

NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 5060 laptop GPU has been spotted in a leaked 3DMark benchmark, promising healthy performance gains over Steam’s most popular graphics cards. The 3DMark TimeSpy benchmark (spotted by Huang514613) exposes a GPU score of 13,821 points for the RTX 5060 mobile, placing it well ahead of its predecessors, the RTX 3060 and 4060 laptop GPUs.

This score also proves that the RTX 5060 will be faster than most variants of the RTX 4070 laptop GPU, at least in synthetic benchmarks. A similar rumor had surfaced last week, crediting the superior performance of Blackwell mobile to its much faster GDDR7 memory.

Most of the GeForce RTX 50 mobile family will leverage 8 GB of GDDR7 memory. The exceptions are the RTX 5070 Ti and the 5080/5090. These SKUs will be paired with 12 GB and 16 GB VRAM, respectively.

NVIDIA RTX 5080 Packaging: 16 GB VRAM + 256-bit Bus?

The packaging of the GeForce RTX 5080 has surfaced on Chiphell. The MSI Gaming Trio variant is the first AIB model to be discovered (via Videocardz). While these screenshots don’t tell us anything about the GPU’s performance, it confirms that the RTX 5080 will be paired with 16 GB GDDR7 memory across a 256-bit bus.
