NVIDIA’s RTX 4090 Averages 545 FPS in Counter-Strike 2

Counter-Strike 2 is out of beta, and over a million players are trying their luck in Valve’s popular competitive shooter. Naturally, GPU vendors are up and ready with their respective driver updates. NVIDIA has gone ahead and demonstrated the advantage of going Team GeForce in Counter-Strike 2. As per official benchmarks, even the slowest Ada Lovelace GPU nets an impressive 215 FPS in this action-packed shooter.

Climbing the performance ladder, we have the GeForce RTX 4070 with 297 FPS and the RTX 4070 Ti with 366 FPS at 1080p Ultra. A latency of 10ms and 9ms respectively was recorded. The RTX 4080 averages 454 FPS and the RTX 4090 comes in at 543 FPS. They have a recorded latency of 7ms and 5ms, respectively.

Of course, NVIDIA didn’t stop there. With the frame rate set to 60 FPS and a refresh rate of 360Hz, it’s demonstrated how “Reflex” can be the difference between victory and defeat. We’re looking at 57ms (off) versus 35ms (on). With both the frame rate and refresh rate set to 360, the latency is further reduced to 17ms, supposedly giving you an edge in this highly competitive shooter.
