AMD Radeon RX 7600 Review

1080p Ray Tracing Benchmarks

Ray tracing has never been AMD’s strong suit, and it shows. The RTX 3060 Ti is over 30% faster than the RX 7600 in “A Plague Tale” at 1080p when enabling ray-traced shadows.

The Radeon RX 7600 puts up a more respectable display in Crysis Remastered and Cyberpunk 2077, trailing the RTX 3060 Ti by just 22% in the latter, averaging 73 FPS in the former. F1 2022 is another ray-traced title where the RX 7600 averages ~60 FPS with lows of over 30. The RTX 3060 Ti is in a league of its own with 1% lows higher than the 7600’s average.

Ghostwire Tokyo is quite playable on the RX 7600, with all ray-traced options maxed out. You get an average of 60 FPS with 1% lows of 30. The RTX 3060 Ti, once again, enjoys a massive lead across all metrics. Hitman 3 royally pummels the RX 7600, with frame rates being 50% higher on average.

The Radeon RX 7600 performs much better in The Callisto Protocol and Metro Exodus, trailing the RTX 3060 Ti by under 14% on average. Despite being one of the most well-optimized PC games, Shadow of the Tomb Raider thrashes the 7600. The RTX 3060 Ti averages 33% higher than the Radeon, with much better lows throughout.
