AMD Radeon RX 7600 Review

1440p Frametimes

The 1440p frametime graphs aren’t that different from their 1080p counterparts. The Radeon RX 7600 is generally less consistent than the RTX 3060 Ti but still delivers playable gameplay in most examples.

What Just Works:

  • 1080p rasterization performance: Nearly as fast as the RTX 3060 Ti at 1080p.
  • Healthy generation uplift: Notably faster than the RX 6600.
  • Pricing: Very affordable at just $269.
  • Discounts: Even though the 7600 launched last month, it’s already selling under its MSRP.

What Doesn’t Work:

  • Poor ray-tracing performance: The RX 7600 chokes hard in ray-traced games, often slower than last-gen GeForce offerings.
  • VRAM: 8GB is not sufficient for newer games.
  • FSR 3 is still absent.
