The PC system requirements for “Alone in the Dark” have been unveiled. The developers have released a detailed specifications chart breaking down the hardware requirements for various resolutions and graphics presets. The most noteworthy aspect is the RAM (memory) requirement. To run the game at the “Epic” quality graphics preset, you’ll need 32GB of memory. Furthermore, you’ll need 50GB of SSD space for optimal performance at any quality preset.

Interestingly, changing the resolution from 1440p to 4K increases the CPU requirements from a Ryzen 7 5700X/Core i5-12700 to a Ryzen 5 7600/Core i5-13600K. Unless there’s ray tracing involved (or the LOD is tied to the resolution), there should be no change in CPU requirements on switching to a higher resolution. On a more positive note, it looks like the game will support both FSR and DLSS at launch.
